| See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain, for the old order has passed away.” |
| And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. | Over all these put on love, which is the bond of perfection. |

| And if you faithfully obey the voice of the Lord your God, being careful to do all his commandments that I command you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. | If you heed the voice of the Lord, your God, and you carefully observe all of the commandments that I have given you today, then the Lord, your God, will lift you up above all the other nations upon the earth. |
| So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. | In everything, deal with others as you would like them to deal with you. This is the Law and the Prophets. |
