Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?Why do you take note of the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the wooden plank in your own eye?

God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.God chose those in the world who were lowly and despised, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who were regarded as worthy, so that no one could boast in the presence of God.
These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.Call to me and I will answer you and reveal to you great and mysterious secrets about which you are unaware.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen.

We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.And we are witnesses to these things, as is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.

He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
