Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Wilt'
- Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
to the blameless you show yourself blameless. - You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.
- You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you. - My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. - “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”
- You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand. - Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone,
for they will surely sprout wings
and fly off to the sky like an eagle. - You will again have compassion on us;
you will tread our sins underfoot
and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. - Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
- For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.
- Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
- Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.
- Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and at the end of them he was hungry.
- So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
- John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
- Believers in humble circumstances ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation—since they will pass away like a wild flower.
- Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- And a highway will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it. - For the Lord your God will bless you as he has promised, and you will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. You will rule over many nations but none will rule over you.
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
- So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
