- I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom;

Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth. - But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - One who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
One who keeps understanding will find good. - The fear of the Lord is the instruction for wisdom,

Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. - Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.
- Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.

If you find it, then there will be a future,

I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial, free of hypocrisy.
- Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Your speech must always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.
- Hear my prayer, Lord, and listen to my cry for help;
Do not be silent to my tears;
For I am a stranger with You,
One who lives abroad, like all my fathers. - For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up!

- Why are you in despair, my soul?
And why are you restless within me?
Wait for God, for I will again praise Him
For the help of His presence, my God. - The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears are toward their cry for help. - Do not say, “Why is it that the former days were better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask about this. - Do not weary yourself to gain wealth;
Stop dwelling on it. - For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - A friend loves at all times,
And a brother is born for adversity. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your body
And refreshment to your bones. - The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears
And rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit. - Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me dwell in safety. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
