From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight. - So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - When pride comes, then comes disgrace,

- Say not, “Why were the former days better than these?”
For it is not from wisdom that you ask this. - For I know that through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will turn out for my deliverance.
- Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - Do not toil to acquire wealth;
be discerning enough to desist. - You have given me the shield of your salvation,
and your right hand supported me,
and your gentleness made me great.
You gave a wide place for my steps under me,
and my feet did not slip. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear to my cry;
hold not your peace at my tears!
For I am a sojourner with you,
a guest, like all my fathers. - A friend loves at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity. - The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry. - Be not wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.
It will be healing to your flesh
and refreshment to your bones. - Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever.
