- A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.

- Worry weighs a person down;
an encouraging word cheers a person up. - Stay on the path that the Lord your God has commanded you to follow. Then you will live long and prosperous lives in the land you are about to enter and occupy.
- And how much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Yes, the law permits a person to do good on the Sabbath.
- I said to the Lord, “You are my Master!
Every good thing I have comes from you.” - Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good?
- And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.
- But in your great mercy, you did not destroy them completely or abandon them forever. What a gracious and merciful God you are!
- For you are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory. - You are my refuge and my shield;
your word is my source of hope. - “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
- For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.
- You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.
- For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.
- You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
- Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
