Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Burdens be lifted up'
- Jesus answered them, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.”
- Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- When he had said this, as they were watching, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight.
- Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up his hands, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.
- Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
- Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.
- Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah - I cried aloud to him,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - In Hades, where he was being tormented, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. He called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in agony in these flames.’
- Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faith. - When I fed them, they were satisfied;
they were satisfied, and their heart was proud;
therefore they forgot me. - Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all offenses. - Rise up, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
do not forget the oppressed. - Is not this the fast that I choose:
to loose the bonds of injustice,
to undo the thongs of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to break every yoke? - Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. - He heals the brokenhearted,
and binds up their wounds. - Nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.
- A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - And now why do you delay? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name.
- When I thought, “My foot is slipping,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.
- Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.
- When Jesus had received the wine, he said, “It is finished.” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
- The vine withers,
the fig tree droops.
Pomegranate, palm, and apple—
all the trees of the field are dried up;
surely, joy withers away
among the people.
So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.Next verse!With image
