- Over all these put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Rather, they should show themselves to be completely trustworthy so that in every way they may add luster to the doctrine of God our Savior.
- You are the light of the world. A city built upon a mountain cannot be hidden.
- Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To the one seated on the throne
and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
forever and ever.” - Therefore, let us leave behind the basic teaching about Christ and advance toward maturity. We must not be forever laying the foundation: repentance for actions that lead to death, faith in God, instruction about baptisms and the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
- Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ and allow no opportunity for the flesh to gratify its sinful desires.
- Do not work for food that perishes
but for the food that endures for eternal life,
which the Son of Man will give you.
For it is on him
that God the Father has set his seal. - If you know me,
then you will know my Father also.
From now on you do know him.
You have seen him. - Do not let kindness and fidelity leave you;
fasten them around your neck
and inscribe them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will gain favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they placed it on his head and put a reed in his right hand. Then, bending the knee before him, they mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- With the Lord to protect me I am not afraid.
What can mortals do to me? - Rejoice with all your heart, O daughter Zion.
Shout for joy, O daughter Jerusalem.
See, your king is coming to you,
triumphant and victorious,
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
- For nothing will be impossible for God.
- Examine me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and understand my thoughts.
See if I follow an evil way,
and guide me on the way to eternity. - Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.
- For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - Whom do I have in heaven except you?
And besides you there is nothing else I desire on earth. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I place my trust and know no fear;
what can people do to me? - Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze on what lies before you.
