Chinese (traditional)- If you turn at my reproof,
behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;
I will make my words known to you. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear to my cry;
hold not your peace at my tears!
For I am a sojourner with you,
a guest, like all my fathers. - For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him. - For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation. - And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.
- Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
- O Lord, all my longing is before you;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
- For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. - I cried to him with my mouth,
and high praise was on my tongue. - Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not cover my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” - But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,
my glory, and the lifter of my head. - When the cares of my heart are many,
your consolations cheer my soul. - I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.
- For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. - For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me. - Hear, my son, and accept my words,
that the years of your life may be many. - My times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! - Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places.
I stretch out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahMy times are in your hand;
rescue me from the hand of my enemies
and from my persecutors! And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.Next verse!With image
