- To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.
- Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, singing,
“To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
forever and ever!” - The clever see danger and hide;
but the simple go on, and suffer for it. - Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.

- Shun youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
- Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God. - Now he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath. And just then there appeared a woman with a spirit that had crippled her for eighteen years. She was bent over and was quite unable to stand up straight. When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Woman, you are set free from your ailment.” When he laid his hands on her, immediately she stood up straight and began praising God. But the leader of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had cured on the sabbath, kept saying to the crowd, “There are six days on which work ought to be done; come on those days and be cured, and not on the sabbath day.” But the Lord answered him and said, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger, and lead it away to give it water? And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen long years, be set free from this bondage on the sabbath day?” When he said this, all his opponents were put to shame; and the entire crowd was rejoicing at all the wonderful things that he was doing.
- He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
- No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
- Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
- Deliverance belongs to the Lord;
may your blessing be on your people! Selah - Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.
- So acknowledge today and take to heart that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. - Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but one who rejects a rebuke goes astray. - I tell you, on the day of judgment you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
or show no compassion for the child of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me.
