Bible Verses about 'Thank you'
- To you, O God of my fathers,
I offer thanks and praise
because you have given me wisdom and power.
Now you have made known to me
what we asked of you;
you have revealed to us the king’s dream. - Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do as much.
- I will give thanks to you among the peoples, O Lord;
I will sing your praises among the nations. - I will praise you in sincerity of heart
as I ponder your righteous judgments. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart places its trust in him.
He has helped me, and I exult;
then with my song I praise him. - But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Enriched in every way, you will be able to practice all your acts of generosity, which, through our intervention, will result in thanksgiving to God.
- And you will say on that day:
Give thanks to the Lord,
invoke his name;
make known his deeds among the nations;
proclaim that his name is exalted. - The Lord is with you while you are with him. If you seek him, he will permit you to find him, but if you abandon him, he will abandon you.
- If you abide in me
and my words abide in you,
you may ask for whatever you wish,
and it will be done for you. - I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. - You created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am wonderfully made;
awesome are your works,
as I know very well. - No, I tell you. But unless you repent, you will all perish as they did.
- I will not leave you orphans;
I will come to you. - You want something that you cannot have, so you commit murder. And you covet something but cannot obtain it, so you engage in quarrels and fights. You do not have because you do not ask.
- Therefore, I say to you: ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace. - Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and utter all kinds of calumnies against you for my sake.
- Therefore, if the Son sets you free,
you then will truly be free. - Blessed are you when people hate you and ostracize you, when they insult you and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.
- I give you a new commandment:
love one another.
Just as I have loved you,
so you should also love one another. - Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.
- And now, brethren, I want to remind you of the gospel I proclaimed to you, which you received and in which you stand firm. Through it you are also being saved, provided that you are holding fast to what I proclaimed to you. If not, then you have believed in vain.
- You did not choose me.
Rather, I chose you.
And I appointed you
to go out and bear fruit,
fruit that will remain,
so that the Father may give you
whatever you ask him in my name. - But as for you,
the anointing you received from him
remains in you,
and therefore you do not need anyone
to teach you.
This same anointing
teaches you everything
and is true and not false,
so abide in him just as he taught you. - When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
nor will the waters engulf you.
When you walk through fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not consume you. - If the world hates you,
be aware that it hated me
before it hated you. - Let what you heard from the beginning
remain in you.
If what you heard from the beginning
remains in you,
then you will remain in the Son
and in the Father. - If you know me,
then you will know my Father also.
From now on you do know him.
You have seen him. - Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
- If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. - But to those of you who are listening to me, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
- So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
- But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive.
- Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
- You have already been cleansed
by the word I have spoken to you. - Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
- The Lord will battle for you. Be calm!
- When you search for me, you will find me. When you seek me with all your heart.
- Therefore, you have no excuse, whoever you may be, when you pass judgment on others. For in judging others you condemn yourself, since you are doing the same things.
- The Lord, your God, will bless you as he promised you. You will lend to many nations, but borrow from none. You shall rule over many nations, but none shall rule over you.
- When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each one of you from your wicked ways.
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Those who revere your name place their trust in you,
for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. - Do not worry about anything, but present your needs to God in prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then the peace of God, which is beyond all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
- If you would seriously consider my reproof,
I would pour out my thoughts to you
and make my precepts known to you. - Seek good and not evil,
so that you may live.
Then the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you
as you claim he is. - O Lord, you have examined me
and you know me.
You know when I sit and when I stand;
you perceive my thoughts from a distance.
