- He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon!”
Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! - Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them.
- But now Jesus, our High Priest, has been given a ministry that is far superior to the old priesthood, for he is the one who mediates for us a far better covenant with God, based on better promises.
- Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.

there is no Rock like our God. - O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;
if you save me, I will be truly saved.
My praises are for you alone! - Now a mediator is helpful if more than one party must reach an agreement. But God, who is one, did not use a mediator when he gave his promise to Abraham.
- By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
- But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.
- And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.
- The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ.
- The Lord directs the steps of the godly.
He delights in every detail of their lives. - But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day.
- That is why he is the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.
- And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day there will be one Lord—his name alone will be worshiped.
- And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
- This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
- Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom.
Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. - Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
- Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
- For I assisted the poor in their need
and the orphans who required help.
I helped those without hope, and they blessed me.
And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy. - This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”
- John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.”
- Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.
