Trust and obey (2/4)

  • As for God, his way is perfect:
    the word of the Lord is tried:
    he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
  • As for God, his way is perfect;
    the word of the Lord is tried:
    he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
  • Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
  • Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
  • I made haste, and delayed not
    to keep thy commandments.
  • Oh how great is thy goodness,
    which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
    which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
    before the sons of men!
  • But I have trusted in thy mercy;
    my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
    I will sing unto the Lord,
    because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
  • And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth.
  • Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.
  • Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.
  • Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
    and whose hope the Lord is.
    For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
    and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
    and shall not see when heat cometh,
    but her leaf shall be green;
    and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
    neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
  • If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
  • He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
    and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
  • He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
  • And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
  • Labour not to be rich:
    cease from thine own wisdom.
  • And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring.
  • The Lord is my strength and my shield;
    my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
    therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
    and with my song will I praise him.
  • Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
  • Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
    upon them that hope in his mercy.
  • But the mercy of the Lord is
    from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
    and his righteousness unto children's children;
    To such as keep his covenant,
    and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
  • Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
  • And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he hath commanded us.
  • Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
  • I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.

In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.Next verse!With image
