- You then, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

- Why do you see the speck in your neighbor's eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- In you, O Lord, I seek refuge;
do not let me ever be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - Pray then in this way:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven. - In Hades, where he was being tormented, he looked up and saw Abraham far away with Lazarus by his side. He called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am in agony in these flames.’
- For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than live in the tents of wickedness. - Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - Therefore whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be proclaimed from the housetops.
- But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
- Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great:
He was revealed in flesh,
vindicated in spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed among Gentiles,
believed in throughout the world,
taken up in glory. - Because you are precious in my sight,
and honored, and I love you,
I give people in return for you,
nations in exchange for your life. - O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;
in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch.
