Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. - Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.
- For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’ - Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
- Therefore you shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
- Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.
- The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time and forever. - You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.
- Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.
- So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son.
- Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name;
And save us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name. - It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave.
- Now if your right eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
- Be strong and let your heart take courage,
All you who wait for the Lord. - You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?
- Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
- Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
- You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male slave, or his female slave, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.
- I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments.
