- But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

- The wicked earns deceptive wages,
but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward. - If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
- What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”

into the depths of the sea. - And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.
- He reveals deep and hidden things;
he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him. - Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.
- Help us, O God of our salvation,
for the glory of your name;
deliver us, and atone for our sins,
for your name's sake! - God, having raised up his servant, sent him to you first, to bless you by turning every one of you from your wickedness.
- Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven people, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
- For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
- He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
- For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
- And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
- You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
