You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right… Psalm 18:35-36

You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your right hand has held me up, Your gentleness has made me great. You enlarged my path under me, So my feet did not slip. Psalm 18:35-36	You have given me your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping. salvation protection
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14	So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. truth Jesus

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7	But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! reward Jesus
Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Proverbs 30:5	Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. truth protection
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart. Proverbs 4:20-21	My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart. listening heart obedience
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Colossians 3:16	Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31	God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. blameless protection
Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:11	I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. heart sin
For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Romans 10:11	As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” faith reliability
The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever. Psalm 119:160	The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever. reliability law
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope. Psalm 130:5	I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. hope soul
Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. 1 Peter 1:23	For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. rebirth
He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Psalm 107:20	He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. healing
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. Matthew 13:22	The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. worrying money temptation
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. Psalm 19:7	The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. law soul wisdom
Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’ Ezekiel 12:28	Therefore, tell them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: No more delay! I will now do everything I have threatened. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!’ reliability obedience
He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:24	God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. calling faithfulness promises
Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. Proverbs 4:5	Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. wisdom understanding obedience
Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many. Proverbs 4:10	My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life. obedience law life
You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. John 15:3	You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. purification speaking evil
For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. Matthew 5:18	I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God’s law will disappear until its purpose is achieved. reliability law heaven
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. John 1:3	God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. creation life
Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.” John 7:16	So Jesus told them, “My message is not my own; it comes from God who sent me.” Jesus learning
This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. 2 Timothy 2:11	This is a trustworthy saying: If we die with him, we will also live with him. death eternal life reliability
I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food. Job 23:12	I have not departed from his commands, but have treasured his words more than daily food. law speaking obedience

So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights. In all that time he ate no bread and drank no water. And the Lord wrote the terms of the covenant—the Ten Commandments—on the stone tablets.
