A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son… Proverbs 10:1

A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son gives grief to his mother.
Proverbs 10:1 joy family sadness
Fine words are not becoming to a fool,
and much less are false words to a noble.

Let those who are wise understand these words,
and let the prudent acknowledge them.
For straight are the ways of the Lord;
the upright walk in them,
but sinners stumble.
