Chinese (traditional)And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation.” To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone,
and a word in season, how good it is! I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. No one after lighting a lamp hides it under a jar, or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light. There is no Holy One like the Lord,
no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and of spirit, making holiness perfect in the fear of God. O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right,
and speak the truth from their heart;
who do not slander with their tongue,
and do no evil to their friends,
nor take up a reproach against their neighbors. Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other. Do not wear yourself out to get rich;
be wise enough to desist. We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law. The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them. Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. Yours, O Lord, are the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth is yours; yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.Next verse!With image
