Chinese (traditional)For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. I establish my covenant with you, that never again shall all flesh be cut off by the waters of the flood, and never again shall there be a flood to destroy the earth. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,”
and to reflect only after making vows. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple. But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit,
but righteousness delivers from death. He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments! And every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Wealth gained hastily will dwindle,
but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. It is well with the man who deals generously and lends;
who conducts his affairs with justice. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets,
but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families. But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled. For the righteous will never be moved;
he will be remembered forever. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand. Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched,
and one who waters will himself be watered. So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces. You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess. For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.
