Chinese (traditional)For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!” Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
your unfailing love, Lord, supported me. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal. Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing. Great peace have those who love your law,
and nothing can make them stumble. Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God. I rejoice in following your statutes
as one rejoices in great riches. Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. You will keep in perfect peace
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you. He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him. By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
