Chinese (traditional)For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord. Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
And he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. So teach us to number our days,
That we may gain a heart of wisdom. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
He who keeps understanding will find good. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice,
And he who begets a wise child will delight in him. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me. And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. A friend loves at all times,
And a brother is born for adversity. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever. Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips
And from a deceitful tongue. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.Next verse!With image
