Chinese (traditional)Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person. When words are many, transgression is not lacking,
but whoever restrains his lips is prudent. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The unfolding of your words gives light;
it imparts understanding to the simple. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you. Remember your mercy, O Lord, and your steadfast love,
for they have been from of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
according to your steadfast love remember me,
for the sake of your goodness, O Lord! Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. The rich rules over the poor,
and the borrower is the slave of the lender. Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. This God—his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord proves true;
he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. A gentle tongue is a tree of life,
but perverseness in it breaks the spirit. For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever! On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. As far as the east is from the west,
so far does he remove our transgressions from us. The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.Next verse!With image
