Chinese (traditional)For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all is God. Wash yourselves and become clean;
remove your evil deeds
far from my sight.
Cease to do evil. Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts. And if we know that he hears us
in regard to whatever we ask him,
we may be sure
that all we ask of him will be ours. My life is in your hands;
deliver me from the power of my enemies,
from the clutches of those who pursue me. Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows. A gift opens doors for the giver
and wins him access to the powerful. As long as the goodwill is present, the gift will be acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. But who am I, and what are your people,
that we should be able to do this?
All things belong to you,
and everything that we have given you is from your hand. God is our refuge and our strength,
a well-proved help in times of trouble. Whatever you ask for in faith-filled prayer, you will receive. Gaze upon the birds in the sky. They do not sow or reap or store in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of far greater value than they? One who forgives a misdeed fosters friendship,
but he who divulges it separates good friends. Do not succumb to the love of money, but be content with what you have, for God has said, “I will never forsake you or abandon you.” I can do all things in him who strengthens me. O Lord, you are kind and forgiving,
filled with kindness for all who cry to you. Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments. No prophecy ever came from human initiative. Rather, when people spoke as messengers of God, they did so under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The Lord makes poor and makes rich,
he humbles and he also exalts. Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.” For we walk by faith, not by sight. Blessed are all those who fear the Lord
and walk in his ways. When you look at the tassels, you will remember the commandments of the Lord and keep them. Thus you will not prostitute yourselves by following after the lusts in your own heart or your own eyes. Peace I leave with you,
my peace I give to you.
Not as the world gives
do I give it to you.
Do not let your hearts be troubled;
be not afraid. The proud man’s heart is not upright,
but the righteous man will live
because of his faith. And let the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, because it was for this that you were called together in one body. Always be thankful. Therefore, encourage one another and strengthen one another, as indeed you are doing. Wait quietly for the Lord
and be patient until he comes.
Do not fret over the man who prospers
because of his evil schemes. Oh, that they would have fear of me in their hearts and they would observe all of my commandments always. Then things would go well with them and their children forever. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked. A person will reap only what he sows. Therefore, take care to live as intelligent people, and do not be like those who are senseless. Make the most of the present time, for this is a wicked age.Next verse!With image
