Chinese (traditional)Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. Let everything that breathes praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you. Better is a little with the fear of the Lord
than great treasure and trouble with it. Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, singing,
“To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
forever and ever!” Let all that you do be done in love. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it,
the world, and those who live in it. God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him. I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world! Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind. O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us. Surely he has borne our infirmities
and carried our diseases;
yet we accounted him stricken,
struck down by God, and afflicted. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.” Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near. Then I acknowledged my sin to you,
and I did not hide my iniquity;
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,”
and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ. He will again have compassion upon us;
he will tread our iniquities under foot.
You will cast all our sins
into the depths of the sea. Take care, brothers and sisters, that none of you may have an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still. It is well with those who deal generously and lend,
who conduct their affairs with justice. Live by the Spirit, I say, and do not gratify the desires of the flesh. Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you. Deceit is in the mind of those who plan evil,
but those who counsel peace have joy.
