And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not;
neither decline from the words of my mouth. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. Honour the Lord with thy substance,
and with the firstfruits of all thine increase. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. Teach me thy way, O Lord;
I will walk in thy truth:
unite my heart to fear thy name. Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. We love him, because he first loved us. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid
in the day of the Lord's anger. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Next verse!With image
