Chinese (traditional)As a deer longs for running streams,
so my soul longs for you, O God. For the entire Law can be summed up in a single commandment: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Train a child in the way he should go,
and he will not deviate from it, even in old age. And thus we can have confidence in him
that if we ask anything
that is in accordance with his will,
he hears us. For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope. Great is the Lord and worthy of the highest praise;
no one can even begin to comprehend his greatness. If you are angry, do not sin. Do not let the sun set on your anger, and do not give the devil an opening. As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. But I with hymns of praise
will offer sacrifice to you.
What I have vowed I will fulfill.
Salvation comes from the Lord. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. I ask that from the riches of his glory he may grant through his Spirit that you be strengthened with power in your inner being and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. May he give you your heart’s desire
and grant you success in all your plans. But he is to ask with faith, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind. Therefore, I say to you: ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness
will find life and honor too. But to those of you who are listening to me, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. Teach us to comprehend how few our days are
so that our hearts may be filled with wisdom. If you love me,
you will keep my commandments. As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine. The Lord bless you and keep you.
The Lord shine his face upon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace. To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may grow rich in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of distress. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tested in every respect as we are, but without sinning. Just as you do not know the path of the wind
or how the body is formed in a woman’s womb,
so you do not know the work of God,
the Creator of all. When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law,
even his prayer is detestable. Test everything, and hold fast to what is good. Avoid every form of evil. Rather, be kind to one another and compassionate, and forgive one another as God has forgiven you in Christ. Guide me in your truth and instruct me,
for you are God, my Savior,
and in you I hope all the day long. To him all the Prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him will receive forgiveness of sins through his name. Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”Next verse! With image
