Chinese (traditional)I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose. If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity. Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord:
though your sins are like scarlet,
they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red like crimson,
they shall become like wool. No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light. The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your rules before me. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,
but he who rejects reproof leads others astray. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes. It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. Being therefore exalted at the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this that you yourselves are seeing and hearing. Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all. For it has been granted to you that for the sake of Christ you should not only believe in him but also suffer for his sake. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. Trust in the Lord, and do good;
dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires. And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are this day. A fool gives full vent to his spirit,
but a wise man quietly holds it back. And the Lord will be king over all the earth. On that day the Lord will be one and his name one. Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?” He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.Next verse!With image
