Chinese (traditional)- And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
- Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted. - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
- For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings;
and the years of thy life shall be many. - The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
- Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord:
O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man, that thou visitest him? - And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
- If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
- If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
- Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
- And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.
- And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. - And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
Thou shalt keep therefore his statutes, and his commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, for ever.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.Next verse!With image
