- It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness. - But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
- O Lord, thou art my God;
I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name;
for thou hast done wonderful things;
thy counsels of old
are faithfulness and truth. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good;
for his mercy endureth for ever. - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
- And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
- God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
- He keepeth the paths of judgment,
and preserveth the way of his saints. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake. - The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me:
thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever:
forsake not the works of thine own hands. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him:
but the just shall live by his faith. - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. - For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.Next verse!With image
