| What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? | What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |
| God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? | God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. | Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord. | So I will show my greatness and my holiness and make myself known in the eyes of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord. |
