- Before the mountains were born,
before you gave birth to the earth and the world,
from beginning to end, you are God. - The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe. - And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.

Has he ever promised and not carried it through? - Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.
