- Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

and to revive the heart of the contrite.” - Don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.
- The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness;
the world, and those who dwell in it. - Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.
- This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
- Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to save many people alive, as is happening today.
- All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.
- But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.
- Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
- Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
- For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence firm to the end.
- Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
- Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake will save it.
- But just as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior, because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
- For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past,
like a watch in the night. - He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
