- Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.
- Listen, my son, and receive my sayings.
The years of your life will be many. - Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. - All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.
- The earth is Yahweh’s, with its fullness;
the world, and those who dwell in it. - You shall be holy to me, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and have set you apart from the peoples, that you should be mine.
- But I am hard pressed between the two, having the desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Yet to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sake.

who walk according to Yahweh’s law. - For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us.
- For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
- Therefore produce fruit worthy of repentance!
- Of his own will he gave birth to us by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
- Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith.
- Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
- For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.
