Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,

for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! - For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.
- Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments! - For not by their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and the light of your face,
for you delighted in them. - And to love him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is much more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- And that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.
For you will render to a man
according to his work.
