- Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
- But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved.
- My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline
or be weary of his reproof,
for the Lord reproves him whom he loves,
as a father the son in whom he delights. - Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent.
- He loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. - Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.
- For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
- That their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God's mystery, which is Christ.
- And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
- Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple. - I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.
- And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.
- But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.
- As a father shows compassion to his children,
so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. - Make your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love! - We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
- As for you, O Lord, you will not restrain your mercy from me;
your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!
For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.Next verse!With image
