- The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
Slow to anger and abounding in mercy. - The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.
- Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
- And if I give away all my possessions to charity, and if I surrender my body so that I may glory, but do not have love, it does me no good.
- But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
- And walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we are to love one another.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- Let love of the brothers and sisters continue. Do not neglect hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
- “For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
But My favor will not be removed from you,
Nor will My covenant of peace be shaken,”
Says the Lord who has compassion on you. - Beloved, let’s love one another; for love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- For Your goodness is great to the heavens
And Your truth to the clouds. - Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
- I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.
- For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You. - And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
- By this all people will know that you are My disciples: if you have love for one another.
- For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- By this the love of God was revealed in us, that God has sent His only Son into the world so that we may live through Him.
