| It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. For the strength of the wicked will be shattered, but the Lord takes care of the godly. | Better is the little of the righteous Than the abundance of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked will be broken, But the Lord sustains the righteous. |
| O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. | In You, Lord, I have taken refuge; Let me never be put to shame; In Your righteousness rescue me. |
| The lips of the godly speak helpful words, but the mouth of the wicked speaks perverse words. | The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked, what is perverted. |

| He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. | He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. |
