- Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?
- In you, Yahweh, I take refuge.

Deliver me in your righteousness. - The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,

My soul will be joyful in my God,

and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. - Don’t envy the man of violence.
Choose none of his ways.
For the perverse is an abomination to Yahweh,
but his friendship is with the upright. - Thus has Yahweh of Armies spoken, saying, ‘Execute true judgment, and show kindness and compassion every man to his brother. Don’t oppress the widow, the fatherless, the foreigner, nor the poor; and let none of you devise evil against his brother in your heart.’
- He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds.
- Yahweh is righteous in all his ways,
and gracious in all his works. - “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.
- Hear my prayer, Yahweh.

In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me. - Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless.
Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. - Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
- Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.

- It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us.
- Who is wise, that he may understand these things?
Who is prudent, that he may know them?
For the ways of Yahweh are right,
and the righteous walk in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them. - Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”
