Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about Safety
- But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation—
so why should I be afraid?
The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,
so why should I tremble? - Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him. - God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble. - For you are my hiding place;
you protect me from trouble.
You surround me with songs of victory. - In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. - The Lord is good,
a strong refuge when trouble comes.
He is close to those who trust in him. - Give your burdens to the Lord,
and he will take care of you.
He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. - He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection. - A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. - You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in you,
all whose thoughts are fixed on you! - People with integrity walk safely,
but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed. - I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.
- The Lord will work out his plans for my life—
for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
Don’t abandon me, for you made me. - So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in people. - For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing.
- The name of the Lord is a strong fortress;
the godly run to him and are safe. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will never be shaken. - Trust in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. - The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed,
a refuge in times of trouble. - Though a mighty army surrounds me,
my heart will not be afraid.
Even if I am attacked,
I will remain confident. - So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
- O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed;
if you save me, I will be truly saved.
My praises are for you alone!
Sing praises to God and to his name!
Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds.
His name is the Lord—
rejoice in his presence!
Father to the fatherless, defender of widows—
this is God, whose dwelling is holy.The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right;
his ears are open to their cries for help.
