6 (3/4)

  • So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.
  • When I fed them, they were satisfied;
    they were satisfied, and their heart was proud;
    therefore they forgot me.
  • But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
  • If we say that we have fellowship with him while we are walking in darkness, we lie and do not do what is true.
  • Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.
  • For the same reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, busy with this very thing.
  • Just as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever eats me will live because of me.
  • Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
  • This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
  • But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
  • Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
  • So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.
  • And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
  • As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
  • Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    all the days of my life,
    and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
    my whole life long.
  • But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
  • For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin.
  • So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
  • You must diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his decrees, and his statutes that he has commanded you.
  • If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
  • I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.
  • Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, revile you, and defame you on account of the Son of Man.
  • Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
  • When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
