- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
- And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. - Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned? - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- A fool's lips enter into contention,
and his mouth calleth for strokes. - What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. - For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
- My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother. - For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)Next verse! With image
