- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- Give us this day our daily bread.
- Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
- Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
- And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. - Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned? - For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
- Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- A fool's lips enter into contention,
and his mouth calleth for strokes. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
- O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - Surely he shall not be moved for ever:
the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
- For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
- For the Lord giveth wisdom:
out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. - He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. - Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- My son, keep thy father's commandment,
and forsake not the law of thy mother.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.Next verse! With image
