- Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
- Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. - What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Children's children are the crown of old men;
and the glory of children are their fathers. - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles. - Blessings are upon the head of the just:
but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. - To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend;
but he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty. - By the word of the Lord were the heavens made;
and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. - Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil:
he shall preserve thy soul.
