- The Lord abhors lying lips,
but he delights in those who are truthful. - The Lord loves righteousness and justice;
the earth is filled with his kindness. - To do what is right and just
is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - The fear of the Lord provides instruction in wisdom,
and to be humble is the way to honor. - The fear of others will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is secure. - Give thanks to the Lord, invoke his name;
proclaim his deeds among the peoples. - Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.
- In my anguish I cried out;
the Lord heard my plea,
and I was saved from all my troubles. - Place your hope in the Lord:
be strong and courageous in your heart,
and place your hope in the Lord. - Seek peace with everyone, as well as the holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.

he is the one who will save us. - Sing praise to the Lord for his mighty deeds;
let this be known throughout the entire world. - Therefore, we can say with confidence:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
but destruction for evildoers. - Alleluia.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his precepts.
