Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Brings'
- A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. - Pride brings a person low,
but the lowly in spirit gain honor. - Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.
- The blessing of the Lord brings wealth,
without painful toil for it. - The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
he humbles and he exalts. - All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty. - A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
- How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” - A gift opens the way
and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. - For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.
- The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. - The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. - God sets the lonely in families,
he leads out the prisoners with singing;
but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. - Fools give full vent to their rage,
but the wise bring calm in the end. - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
- A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. - This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
- Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value,
but righteousness delivers from death. - Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless. - A gossip betrays a confidence,
but a trustworthy person keeps a secret. - Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
- To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
- Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes. - While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory.
