Chinese (traditional)- Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
- But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- Every way of a man is right in his own eyes:
but the Lord pondereth the hearts. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall. - But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine.
- The memory of the just is blessed:
but the name of the wicked shall rot. - A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine:
but a broken spirit drieth the bones. - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man,
but the end thereof are the ways of death. - Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
- But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - The fear of man bringeth a snare:
but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. - Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop:
but a good word maketh it glad. - Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. - The ransom of a man's life are his riches:
but the poor heareth not rebuke. - But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
- But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
A man's pride shall bring him low:
but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.Next verse! With image
