Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Can'
- Can one go upon hot coals,
and his feet not be burned? - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
- The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Who can find a virtuous woman?
for her price is far above rubies. - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
- In God I will praise his word,
in God I have put my trust;
I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. - Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
- So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
- Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?
by taking heed thereto according to thy word. - Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
- No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
- For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
- The heart is deceitful above all things,
and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart,
I try the reins,
even to give every man according to his ways,
and according to the fruit of his doings. - Can a woman forget her sucking child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
yea, they may forget,
yet will I not forget thee.
Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;
thy walls are continually before me. - Whither shall I go from thy spirit?
or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there:
if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. - He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
- What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
- And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
- It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.Next verse!With image
