Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord:
we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord. - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment.

- For the Lord giveth wisdom:

- Hope deferred maketh the heart sick:
but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. - But I will sacrifice unto thee
with the voice of thanksgiving;
I will pay that that I have vowed.
Salvation is of the Lord. - Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
- Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:

- A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. - I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.

but a prating fool shall fall. - As he came forth of his mother's womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
