From my distress I called upon the Lord; The Lord answered me and put me in an open space.I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, To give to each person according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
Turn to my rebuke, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
“If you do not listen, and if you do not take it to heart to give honor to My name,” says the Lord of armies, “then I will send the curse upon you and I will curse your blessings; and indeed, I have cursed them already, because you are not taking it to heart.”“If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name,” Says the Lord of hosts, “I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.”
Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.
Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart.Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, Who seek Him with the whole heart!
Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
I have made a covenant with my eyes; How then could I look at a virgin?I have made a covenant with my eyes; Why then should I look upon a young woman?
Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who wait for the Lord.Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.

And the Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man. Then the man said, “At last this is bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called ‘woman,’ Because she was taken out of man.” For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Many plans are in a person’s heart, But the advice of the Lord will stand.There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.
Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God.
For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Go then, eat your bread in happiness, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart; for God has already approved your works.Go, eat your bread with joy, And drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.
“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “Return to Me with all your heart, And with fasting, weeping, and mourning.”“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and destruction.But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition.
And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them.Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.
Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil.Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil.
So remove sorrow from your heart and keep pain away from your body, because childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.Therefore remove sorrow from your heart, And put away evil from your flesh, For childhood and youth are vanity.
