Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up. | Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad. |
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. | The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. |
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. | A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones. |
What a person desires is unfailing love; better to be poor than a liar. | What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar. |

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. | Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord. |
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. | And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. |
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. | I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. |
